Series of events for killing this extremely rare spawn drake after roughly a month of camping:
1. Went to bed, leaving WoW running with NPCScan active with my volume maxed out.
2. Almost had a heart attack when the obnoxiously loud rare spawn alert sound goes off, the subwoofer shaking the whole house and waking me up out of a dead sleep.
3. Haul out of bed, turn TV on, grab kb/mouse, sit down and pwn Aeonaxx.
4. Profit.
I was in a bit of a half asleep haze during this entire fight and kept losing track of my mouse cursor when I was trying to mount him as you can probably tell.
I couldn’t tell if Fraps was recording or not since the FPS indicator wasn’t showing up on my screen, and I was more concerned with killing Aeonaxx than tabbing over to Fraps to see what the deal was, which is why this movie is basically a highlight reel instead of the whole fight.
Spawned at roughly 4:45am server just outside The Stonecore entrance where you can see him flying around at the beginning of the video.
Every spawn I’ve heard of since I started camping Aeonaxx has been in Quartzite Basin by the entrance to Stonecore with Aeonaxx flying at roughly the same height as Stonecore. I’ve heard he can spawn really low to the ground sometimes, but I’ve never seen it.

Hey, just read on www.n4g.com that Killzone 2 multiplayer was up so I decided to test it out and indeed it was up running. However, the servers are still not stable because of many disconnections and network errors that you will witness at the end of this video. Those issues should be fixed when the game officially launches 2 days from now. Anyway, here’s a quick look at what the online might end up be like on launch. There was a bit of lag specially when killing your opponent. It takes a couple of secs for them to die after shooting them alot. They just fall flat in an awkward way and that is a bit annoying to be honest. Like I said the servers aren’t quite stable so this might be the main reasons why I was getting all those errors and disconnections and death lag. Anyway, there you go. Enjoy.
